Google's new mobile maps upgrade includes a cell phone tracker that lets you follow your friends or families locations in real-time. The cell phone tracker is called "Latitude." It plots a user's location using cell phone towers, GPS or Wi-Fi connections. User's pictures show up on the corresponding location on a Google map.
Now I don't know about you, but are you ready to be tracked down by your Mate, Friends, Parents, Boss, or God only knows who? Well this is nothing new, most of us have GPS systems in our cars, so it's just tracking in reverse. So watch out where you go, if you don't that known, cause not "big brother" is watching.
Tell me what you think?

I feel that if they are going to invade my privacy like that then they better provide me a list of numbers who looked for my information or the ability to take my number off of this.
Otherwise, I will be setting up a class action lawsuit and getting paid. My cellphone is not public property and not publicly listed.
You have to sign up for the service to allow yourself to be tracked, based on the segment on the Today show...otherwise, if it's simply keying in a phone number I'm contacting the FCC or someone. I've got enough issues. My BB is mine and I pay AT&T too much to be getting followed around via real-time by...anyone!
I don't like this at all. I think technology is becoming waaaay too intrusive.
i think its a neat feature but can def cause some issues if ur tryin to hide something
