Sunday Morning!

Woke up this morning feeling lonely, so called a buddy for breakfast. Of course he was still sleeping, but he called back and said, Steven and I are meeting at Wishbone around 11am. I'm like that's two hours away, and I'm hungry now! Well I waited till 11, drove to Wishbone to find that they were not there, and neither answered their cell phones. By this time not only was I hungry but pissed as well. Every place I went downtown was packed, and I don't like eating alone in a packed place. So I decided to come back home, catch the train downtown and have a "Me day". Treated myself to a nice lunch, and a movie. By the way, I highly recommend Hustle & Flow, it was excilent.
For someone that brags on not needing a lot of people to hang or be around, I really wanted to spend the day with someone and not be alone, but as I sit here now, have not been in the company of anyone.
Oh well, that's how the wind blows sometimes

Mr. KneeDeep,

Thanks for looking me up - ya love is appreciated bruh! Welcome to blogosphere - keep it up! Madea always told me, "when you start doing a good thing - keep it up, cuz the minute you let go, you've just been defeated!"

Yo - I remember weekend trips to the Windy City. I'm in love with Wishbone, especially their shrimp & grits - hmmm, those were the days.

Welcome to the blog world!

I am happy you enjoyed my blog. The Pride in the City post is by far my favorite. Come again - I will be sure to be back.

Peace

KD,
First off,

I would like to say welcome to the blog world. There is definately always something interesting that goes on down on here.

Secondly,
I know how it is to give yourself attention, while secretly wanting to be sharing a day with someone.
I feel the same way on many occasions, but I get over it by finding something constuctive to do like, writing my poetry, and listening to music.

I like your spot a lot so far so I guess I will visit more often. I definately want to see what I have to look forward to when I am your age, although I will probably not be as attractive as you.
